The WFEO President Dr Seng Chuan Tan hosted a WFEO World Engineering Day Member Information virtual meeting on 9 December 2025.
The purpose of the meeting was to inform WFEO members of the plans for celebrations of World Engineering Day, 4th March 2026.
The theme of the WED 2026 celebrations is “SMART Engineering for a Sustainable Future Through Innovation and Digitalization”.
The celebrations will consist of:
- An In person event hosted by the Institution Engineers Indonesia (PII), the national Member of WFEO, from 2 to 5 March at the Convention centre, Jakarta.
- The WFEO World Engineering Day Hackathon.
- Celebrations by WFEO Members around the world and a global online celebration at www.worldengineeringday.net
