My message at the occasion was on informing the gathering about my successful taking over as WFEO President, the enormous goodwill received from the global engineering community and the need to appreciate this by making sure that NSE and our country participates in all activities of WFEO and gives me all the support necessary to discharge this important and heavy responsibility. There was huge excitement from the Vice President of Nigeria and all the dignitaries that attended the conference because this is the first time Nigeria and indeed the whole of sub-Saharan Africa had the opportunity to lead WFEO.
