
The Official launch of the ARRICE project (Africa Regional Resilience Initiative on Climate Education) which will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at the Mauritius Institute of Education (MIE) in Réduit, Mauritius.
This event is supported by WFEO and the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).
This high-level event will bring together representatives from public institutions, academia, civil society, and international organizations, united around a common objective: to strengthen climate change education in Africa and mark the official launch of this initiative, carried out in partnership with MIE, Reef Conservation (Mauritius), KOEE (Kenya), ENDA Energie (Senegal), and the Office of Climate Change Education (OCE).
WFEO and OCE have a collaborative MoU under which the first Climate Change Education Project was delivered in 2021-2022 with a virtual and then in person workshop for 1 week in Mauritius, hosted by the Mauritius Ministry of Education and the Institution of Engineers Mauritius.
