The High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) will be held from 14 to 23 July 2025, under the auspices of the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) at the United Nations Headquarters.
The theme of the HLPF is “Advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for leaving no one behind”.
Within the HLPF, the side event “Science Day 2025: Unlocking tomorrow’s solutions, today” organized by the International Science Council will be held on 15 July from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM EST (New York time).

On the afternoon, the official meeting “Accelerating SDG achievement in African countries, LDCs, LLDCs and middle-income countries” will be held in-Person on 15 July 2025 from 03:00 to 06:00 PM EST (New York time).
This meeting will be held in two parts:
- Part I: Africa, Least Developed Countries and Landlocked Developing Countries (3:00 to 4:30)
- Part II: Middle-Income Countries (4:30 to 6:00)
