It is celebrated worldwide on March 4 each year since 202 0.\n\nSince then\, WFEO has co-led with UNESCO the annual World Engineer's Day celebrations on March 4\, federating the initiatives and events organ ized by its hundred or so member institutions\, and organizing a major eve nt each post-Covid year (in 2022 in Costa Rica\, in 2023 in Spain and in 2 024 in Portugal). \n\nThis year\, the major event will be held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The March 4\, 2025 event will give the floor to lea ding governmental\, scientific and entrepreneurial figures\, to illustrate the diversity of issues and contributions linking the engineering profess ion to the United Nations' sustainable development goals. \n\nThe event wi ll be broadcasted live in this page.\n\nThis event will highlight the key role played by engineers from all other the world\, in advancing the Unite d Nations 2030 Agenda of Sustainable Development Goals.\n\nWED celebration s are hosted globally\, uniting organizations\, governments\, educational institutions\, and individuals.
