The 2026 HLPF will hold in-depth reviews of five SDGs: \n\nSDG 6. Ensur e availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all\ ; \nSDG 7. Ensure access to affordable\, reliable\, sustainable and modern energy for all\; \nSDG 9. Build resilient infrastructure\, promote inclus ive and sustainable industrialization and foster innovation\; \nSDG 11. Ma ke cities and human settlements inclusive\, safe\, resilient and sustainab le\; and \nSDG 17. Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize t he Global Partnership for Sustainable Development.\n\n\nAccordingly\, the theme for the STI Forum 2026 is: “Transformative\, equitable and coordin ated science\, technology and innovation for the 2030 Agenda and a sustain able future for all”.\n \;\n\n\nWithin the STI Forum\, WFEO will org anize the in-person side event entitled “Engineering a Sustainable and R esilient Built Environment and Infrastructure during and through technolog y Revolution” on 6 May from 13:15 to 14:30 PM EDT at the Conference Room C.\n\nThe side event will be focused on resource demands for technology r evolution and building the basic infrastructure to meet the growing demand s of population.\n\nModerator:\nDr. K.
