DESCRIPTION:\n&nbsp\;\nThe Technical Chamber of Greece will organize the on
 line workshop titled “Lessons learnt after the Feb 6th earthquake sequen
 ce in Turkiye. The Hellenic Reconnaissance Mission of April 21-25”\, on 
 the 12th of July 2023 at 17:00 (Athens Time).\n\nThe theme of the event wi
 ll be the recent earthquakes that struck southern Turkey and northern Syri
 a in early February and the lessons learned from the earthquake-affected a
 reas and their implications for future disaster mitigation efforts.\n\nThe
  Webinar aims to provide a dynamic platform for the members of a Greek mis
 sion of 17 scientists /engineering experts from the National Technical Uni
 versity of Athens as well as from the Hellenic Association for Earthquake 
 Engineering (HAEE / ETAM) that visited the earthquake affected areas in Tu
 rkey\, to share their experiences\, insights and findings with a wider int
 ernational audience.\n\nProf. José Macharé\, WFEO Executive Council memb
 er and Chair of the Disaster Risk Management Committee\, will be a speaker
  at the webinar.
