DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Global Solutions Summit 2023 (GSS 2023) will be held on
  5 May between 10 AM to 1:30 PM EST (4 PM to 7:30 PM CEST)\, at the UN hea
 dquarters in New York\, with a focus on Leveraging the Diaspora\, Youth\, 
 and the African Continental Free Trade Area to Harness Science\, Technolog
 y and Innovation for the SDGs 2030. The co-organizers of GSS 2023 are the 
 Global Solutions Summit (GSS)\, in partnership with the United Nations Dep
 artment of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA)\, the World Federation of En
 gineering Organizations (WFEO) and its Affiliate Members and the American 
 Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).\n\nThis event will complement and ampli
 fy the discussions of the Africa Day and STI Forum.\n\nWFEO Former Preside
 nt\, 2017-2019\, Dr Marlene Kanga AO will speak at the opening session and
