DESCRIPTION:\n\nUNESCO welcomes you to join the first Global Conference of 
 the International Science Decade\, a hybrid event held from 15–17 July 2
 026 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris.\n\nThe registration is available in t
 his page.\n\nThe International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Developm
 ent (2024–2033)\, proclaimed by the United Nations and led by UNESCO\, r
 epresents a pivotal global movement to harness the full spectrum of scient
 ific disciplines for the accelerated achievement of the Sustainable Develo
 pment Goals.\n\nAbout the conference\nTwo years into its implementation\, 
 UNESCO will convene the 2026 Global Conference of the International Decade
  of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD)\, bringing together globa
 l stakeholders to take stock of progress\, spotlight science-driven soluti
 ons and help shape a resilient and inclusive post-2030 future.\n\nConnecti
 ng leaders from government\, academia\, industry\, civil society and Indig
 enous knowledge communities\, the Conference will serve as a premier globa
 l platform to assess progress\, share solutions and forge the partnerships
  needed to mobilize science for sustainable development at scale.\n\nUnder
  the theme “Science in action: Charting a sustainable and equitable futu
 re for all” the event will spotlight how transdisciplinary research\, op
 en science and strengthened science–policy–society interfaces can driv
 e more inclusive and equitable futures for all.\n\nObjectives\nThe Confere
 nce will:\n\nDemonstrate the impact of IDSSD-endorsed initiatives addressi
 ng global challenges\nAccelerate progress and share good practices since t
 he Decade’s launch\nShape priorities for the 2026–2029 implementation 
 phase\nForge partnerships across sectors and regions\nBuild trust in scien
 ce through stronger science–policy–society linkages\nIntegrate knowled
 ge systems\, including Indigenous and local knowledge\nInform the post-203
