SUMMARY:2024 International Engineering Congress
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the 
 Pacific (FEIAP) and the Zhejiang Association for Science and Technology (Z
 AST) will be organizing the 2024 International Engineering Congress (2024I
 EC) from 8 to 9 November 2024 in Taizhou\, China.\n\nFollowing the success
  of the FAEO-FEIAP-WFEO-UNESCO conference on Engineering Education and Cap
 acity Building held in Victoria Falls\, Zimbabwe from 16 to 20 August 2022
 \, FEIAP and ZAST wish to expand the event into the International Engineer
 ing Congress (IEC).\n\nIEC2024 will focus on the theme "Engineering Innova
 tion: Cooperation for Mutual Benefits”\, with the following three main t
 hemes of:\n\nSub-Theme 1: International Cooperation for Engineering Educat
 ion of the Future\nSub-Theme 2: International Cooperation for Emerging and
  Innovative Technologies: AI and Open Engineering for Future Engineers\nSu
 b-Theme 3: International Cooperation for Engineering Capacity Development 
 and Mobility\n\n\nThe main objective of 2024IEC is to promote internationa
 l cooperation in areas such as engineering education\, emerging technologi
 es\, innovation\, and the development and mobility of engineering professi
 onals. \n\nThe congress aims to create an academic feast in the field of e
 ngineering. Leaders and representatives of engineering organizations from 
 more than 40 countries and regions in Asia\, Oceania\, Africa and Latin Am
 erica\, as well as representatives from UNESCO\, famous international scie
 ntific and technological organizations and international engineering organ
 izations will attend the meeting. The congress will become a platform for 
 global southern engineering organizations to forge common understanding fo
 r sustainable development\, and a platform for global engineers to exchang
 e ideas and learn from each other.\n\n2024IEC will comprise presentations\
 , forums\, roundtable discussions providing a platform for notable speaker
 s and experts to share experiences and best practices from various countri
 es.\n\nNorlida Buniyamin\, the Chair of the WFEO Committee on Engineering 
 for Innovative Technologies (CEIT)\, is invited as a Speaker for the Sub-T
 heme 2 topic "International Cooperation for Emerging & Innovative Technolo
 gies for Developing Economies" that will be held on 9 November 2024 at 10:
