DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe 12th International Conference on Low Carbon Asia (ICLCA
  2026) will be held from October 19 to 22\, 2026\, in Shanghai\, China. \n
 \nThis conference is jointly organized by Shanghai Jiao Tong University an
 d Universiti Teknologi Malaysia\, co-organized by Beijing Normal Universit
 y and the Shanghai Academy of Agricultural Sciences\, and supported by Wor
 ld Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO).\n\nAs a major annual ac
 ademic event\, the International Conference on Low Carbon Asia is dedicate
 d to establishing a high-level platform for global academia\, government a
 gencies\, industry stakeholders\, and related organizations. It aims to fa
 cilitate in-depth discussions on the latest advancements in sustainable de
 velopment and the transition to net-zero emissions across Asia and beyond\
 , fostering knowledge sharing and cross-sector collaboration.\n\nThe inaug
 ural International Conference on Low Carbon Asia was initiated by Universi
 ti Teknologi Malaysia and has since been successfully held in various coun
 tries and regions\, including Japan\, the Philippines\, Vietnam\, and Dali
 an China. Covering a wide range of research areas such as sustainable ener
 gy systems\, sustainable agriculture\, urban waste and water management\, 
 circular economy\, green finance\, and clean technologies\, the conference
  serves as a dynamic international academic platform. It provides valuable
  opportunities for advancing green industry innovation and fostering resea
 rch collaboration on net-zero emissions.\n\nUnder the theme "Moving the Ne
 edle to 1.5: Science\, Technology\, Finance\, and Policy Integration to Ma
 terialise Asia's Net-Zero Transition" this year’s conference seeks to in
 tegrate science\, technology\, finance\, and policy to accelerate Asia’s
  carbon-neutral transition and contribute insights and solutions toward li
 miting global warming to 1.5°C. The conference will delve into this core 
 theme through in-depth discussions\, sharing innovative practices and expl
 oring viable pathways to collectively advance the construction of a sustai
 nable future.\n\nWe cordially invite experts\, scholars\, industry profess
 ionals\, and researchers from around the world to submit English-language 
 papers related to the following research directions. We welcome active sub
 missions and look forward to collaborating to promote low-carbon developme
