ECEC Medal Award to WFEO Past President Eng. Marwan Abdelhamid

ECEC Medal Award to WFEO Past President Eng. Marwan Abdelhamid

On the occasion of its 10th anniversary celebration, the European Council of Engineers Chambers (ECEC) has presented an ECEC medal which is meant to be awarded to persons who made a special contribution to the values of ECEC.

At the General Assembly Meeting in Skopje, Macedonia, it was awarded for the fourth time: On 21 October 2017 it was presented to WFEO Past President Eng. Marwan Abdelhamid. The decision was based on the fact that Eng. Marwan Abdelhamid played a major role in supporting the ECEC to gain recognition and positive acceptance in the engineering world on international level. Due to his efforts, the ECEC has now a respected position within the WFEO. This broader scope of thinking had and continuously has a positive effect on the development of the ECEC.

The medal was presented to Mr Abdelhamid by ECEC President and WFEO Executive Vice President Crtomir Remec and the former award winner and ECEC Past President Mirko Oreškovic together with the President of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia H.E. d-r Gjorge Ivanov.
